Another Eden off the shore of Singapore: Day 4 culture.....shoes......and food....

Arghh i wanted to wake up early to go eat at the canteen [this canteen, opens super early 6.30am and by the time of 8-8.30am everything is completely sold.] before Xiao Ling[Sally] teacher IS lesson, pity i could not get up in time due to the "overexpenditure" of energy yesterday.Oh wells, as usual Mr Phua woke everyone up early as the lessons were at 8am!! Anyways we managed to get there for her lesson but were a few minutes late.Xiao Ling[Sally] teacher was extremely nice and introduced herself and was rather fluent with her english that can even put some Singaporeans to shame if u get what i mean.Her, being borned in Wuhan and has been there all her life, to be able to have a eurasion accent with exceptional english pronounciation is really suprising, at least for me that is.I was stunned when i saw the number of slides she had to present for her lesson.her slides were like a river of words that rapidly flow for 2hours before she gave us a 15min break and finished her last 2 hours or so explaining Hubei,Wuhan culture,myths,history on time.Pictures give a dozen meanings and below are some pictures of the lecture

After her lesson, we went to our hostel/dorm to clean-up and tidy up before eating lunch.The follow-up was pretty much free time and most of us decided to go sleep.Others like me,Karen,Sam,Chin xiang,Teckyi,Andy went to walk around to see shoes and clothes and buy basic necessities.

i managed to get a decent shoe and a set of addidas clothes and Teckyi and Andy managed to get their basketball shoes.All is well and we went back just in time for dinner.i joined Teckyi and some girls for dinner at the restaurant.
