Day 3 new terms...reliving the kid i once was...window shopping...

Morning started off by waking up with a knock on the door by Mr Phua.ost i was totally beat cause of the walking the previous day.

Back to topic, we went to the tutorial room and Mr Phua started off the lecture by going thru several factors such as conduct which included sensitive to others, sensible, sharp, shrewd, Strategic and a Mental model SYSTEM for example, “think in a system ’systematic’ logic manner to have a certain plan.

Then he went thorugh “Systemic” e.g. matrix structure, context, contents ] as well as “CONS” which is control ,confuse, conspire, construe. If you are wondering what these terms and definition means, you would have probably realised these are terms used in the business processing engineering lecture. The morning was rather interesting with Mr Phua taling about skills that we need in the society. From Politics is actually neutral, for example, 2 people means different in opinion however with a third opinion, 3 people means politics.I wont really explain in detail as it will probably take forever to explain. Moving on, We spend our afternoon taking Bus 549 from WUST main gate bus stop to Zhong Shan Park. It took 30-45minutes to get there and i experienced what it mean to be squeezed like sardine. The Chinese really squeezed to the max until you cant really breathe in the bus. Thats another interesting behavioural fact to take note haha. The bus took us across the 2nd bridge which was at Chiang Jiang river. We took alot of pictures along the way and visited the huge park which had rides like Viking ship and roller coaster.

To me, it was like reliving my past when i used to be a kid.We took many pictures alongside unique sculptures. We were there for a good 2 hours. Following on, we took the underpass to the famous “SUGO” shopping centre. It was filled with people and we were lucky as they were clearing stocks and the discounts for clothes and other apparels were from up to 50%!!! And also buy 1 get 1 free. I managed to get 2 shirts which cause 55RMB.Thats like roughly Sg $5 which is like dirt cheap if you get what i mean! Shopping was another few hours and we met at the nearby Restaurant with 2 local female students Li Xuan and Wen Zhi who showed us the other interesting areas which we can “shop till we drop”. Dinner was simple with some fruits, dessert and snacks. We then headed to Mei Shi Jie where we can get cheap food that is good and popular among the locals.

Continuing with shopping, we window shopped around the area until it drizzled. By then, it was really late, around 9pm. We took Cab back to WUST and cost me 27RMB. Personally i was afraid about the taxi ride especially hearing stories from my mom about the culture of crazy driving such as cutting lanes without signalling and driving above speed limit. As i was sitting in the front seat i observed the way people in China drive and realised that cutting lanes and speeding is normal to them. I even saw a car suddenly park in the middle of the expressway and did not on the lights or put up any notice to let people know that there is a car there. These risks really reflect upon the road safety awareness of the people.
/till then a prayer for you and me
